BTS flew down from South Korea two days back, as part of being the special envoy to South Korean President Moon Jae-in. Suited up in black tuxedos, the septet took over the entire building and whole of NYC as they performed to their hit song ‘Permission to Dance’ and what a proud moment it was for the group and ARMYs globally. Not just that, as per records, they are only the third group to do so after Beyonce and Shakira. More than one million people watched the UN General Assembly speech live.

BTS members RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jin, Jimin, V, Jungkook, not only performed but also delivered a heartening and motivating speech to the world leaders about the ‘welcome generation.’ They beckoned the global leaders to acknowledge the youth who are taking steps and have shown interest in matters related to environmental concerns. “We think that instead of the ‘lost generation,’ a more appropriate name would be the ‘welcome generation.’ Because instead of fearing change, this generation says, ‘Welcome!’ and keeps forging ahead,” Jin said while addressing the global leaders.

The BTS members also stressed the world post COVID and the need for hope and moving on in these trying times. Their speech was applauded by everyone around with ARMY flexing themselves with sheer pride for staning the best.

BTS also was a part of an interview conducted with South Korean President Moon Jae-in. Their pictures from New York have been going viral throughout.
