Actor Tom Cruise recently made a surprise appearance at the London premiere of Brad Pitt’s upcoming film, F1, reuniting with his former Interview with the Vampire (1994) co-star. The two actors shared warm hugs and posed together on the red carpet outside Cineworld Leicester Square, marking their first public appearance together since the 2001 ‘America: A Tribute to Heroes’ benefit concert.

Cruise also posted photos from the event on his X account, showing him alongside Pitt, director Joseph Kosinski, and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. In the images, Cruise and Pitt, dressed in sharp tailored suits, stand in front of a racing car, with Cruise captioning the post, “Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!”

This reunion has garnered significant buzz, especially since Pitt recently expressed his desire to work again with Cruise in an interview with E!. The duo’s camaraderie has fans excited, especially given their previous collaboration in Neil Jordan’s horror classic Interview with the Vampire.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who was also present at the premiere, has a longstanding working relationship with Cruise, having co-produced F1, as well as Top Gun (1986) and Top Gun Maverick (2022). F1 stars Pitt as a retired driver who returns to racing to prove his critics wrong. The film features an ensemble cast including Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kim Bodnia. It is set to hit cinemas on June 25.
