How Aishwarya shaped Athiya’s future in a minute!

More often than you know, your dreams are shaped by the people around. Those successful and content with their own work, seem to carry an infectious charm.

And if the person in talks is someone as beautiful and self-made as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the impact is immense. One such woman whose head was turned with Aishwarya’s grace, is Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty. All it took Athiya was to look at Aishwarya on the sets of ‘Umrao Jaan’, before she made up her mind on becoming an actress. “I was Aishwarya’s poonch. I followed her on the set. I would just watch her getting ready for the shoot. ”And that’s when I decided I wanted to be a part of this beautiful world of Hindi movies,” Athiya said, in one of her interviews.

She debuted with ‘Hero’ wherein she romanced Sooraj Pancholi. The film, however, proved to be a dud at the box office. Athiya is now set to appear in Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Ileana D’cruz-starrer ‘Mubarakan’.
