Sonam Kapoor at Cannes Film Festival

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor is known in Bollywood for her sense of style. The Diva who started her Bollywood journey with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya was not as lucky career wise during her early days. Her times changed with ‘Raanjhanaa’. The Diva kept her composure during the highs and lows of her career.

Sonam Kapoor said, “One has to accept that ups and downs are a part of life. As long as there are people who think I am good enough to work with them, I am happy. I’d be worried and unhappy if there were no filmmakers who wanted to work with me. But right now, I’m getting to work with great people and in great films.”

Sonam Kapoor added, “In the last couple of years, things changed for the better, especially after Raanjhanaa (2013). And, it has been a slow yet steady game since. After Raanjhanaa, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag did so well. Alright, Bewakoofiyaan didn’t do too well, but Khoobsurat did extremely well. Hopefully, two of my upcoming films will do well too.”

Now the Fashionista is out to try her luck in Hollywood too. She added, “I am auditioning for a few international projects. I can talk about them only when they think I am good enough, and finalise me. That’s how my career in Bollywood also started. I was born with a silver spoon, but I auditioned a lot and worked hard. That’s how I got my first film, Saawariya, in 2007. I have worked really hard to get my career going.”

We are sure that Sonam Kapoor will achieve fame in Hollywood too just like her father actor Anil Kapoor.
