Recently, for one of the episodes of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’, where Karan Johar is also one of the judges, Ranbir Kapoor came in as a guest. Here the actor revealed how the concept of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ came alive.

The host of the show, Manish Paul asked Ranbir to recite the shayari he has said in the movie, to which the actor revealed, “It’s not a shayari! Our great director Karan Johar had impromptu written this poem while travelling which kind of encompasses the vibe of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.”

Ranbir further said that Karan is an excellent poet.

And the poem that he wrote goes as follows:

“Jab Pyaar mein Pyaar na ho, Jab dard mein yaar nah ho,

Jab aasu mein muskan na ho, Jab Laafzon mein zubaan na ho,

Jab saanse bas yuhi chale, Jab har din mein raat dhale,

Jab intezaar sirf waqt ka ho, Jab yaad uss kambakht ka ho,

Kyun hoon main rahi jab kisi aur ki manzil,

Dhadkane saath chhod diya…Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”

Excellent Right?
