Varun Dhawan

The heartthrob from the young brigade, Varun Dhawan is all set to kick a punch in his brother’s upcoming film ‘Dishoom’. Varun along with John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez, is on his toes to make this film as successful as possible and well, with the looks of it, ‘Dishoom’ seems to be entertaining many. We have already got a glimpse of how all the three stars have sweat it out in Abu Dhabi getting all the stunts and acts correct in the film. Varun and John play two rookie cops in Dubai so they do speak a lot of Arabic, but not many know from where Varun learn his Arabic dialect from! As per him, his driver in Dubai was his inspiration.

In one of the recent interviews, the ‘Badlapur’ man said that he used to chill with his driver and has learnt a lot from him. He said, “For 55-60 days, maximum I was chilling with my driver over there who is from Islamabad and is 65 year old. Because I had to feel like someone who is not from this country but living away from his country, so I had a special bond with that man.” Enacting his dialect and how his driver loved Pankaj Udhas’ song ‘Chithi Aayi Hai’, Varun said that he got a lot of inspiration from his driver.

Varun added, “I had to speak Arabic in this film and I had a coach who trained me for 15-20 days, but eventually I gave my dialogues to my driver and asked him ‘aap bolo kaise bolna hai’, and he would everyday sudharo (improve) my dialect’.

How sweet is that now!

Directed by Rohit Dhawan, ‘Dishoom’ is set to release on July 29.
