Here’s an amazing news for the fans of Shah Rukh Khan. If you’ve been an early 90’s kid or probably even older than that, then you must remember the TV series ‘Circus’ that starred a very young SRK.

The serial called as ‘Circus’ used to air in the year 1989 and it revolved around a circus troupe which was owned by Shekharan (Shah Rukh Khan). He was a Malayalee Circus person who plans to sell off the circus troupe, but doesn’t. The serial also featured well-known filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker who was an actor at the time and Mita Vashisht. The show will be aired from February 19 at 8 pm on Doordarshan. This amazing news was shared by Doordarshan on their Twitter page.

However, the man himself hasn’t yet responded on this great news. Well, for those who don’t know, this wasn’t the only serial that SRK did before venturing into movies. He also worked in serials like ‘Fauji’, ‘Doosra Keval’, ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’, ‘Umeed’. After being a part of these serials, SRK moved to the big screen with movies like ‘Dil Aashna Hai’ (1992) and ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman'(1992).

On the work front, the actor will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s untitled movie with Anushka Sharma, Aanand L. Rai’s untitled dwarf movie.
