The same year, after a supporting role in “Apne”. she again joined Dvid Dhavan for his film Partner, also staring Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta.

Welcome

Her final film of that year was Welcome, a comedy from Anees Bazmee, which also starred Nana Patekar, Mallika Sherawat, Anil Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. It was the second highest grossing Bollywood film of 2007.

Race

Abbas Mustan’s action thriller Race was Katrina’s first release in 2008. The film was a fairly successful venture i box office, although Katrina received mixed reviews for her performance.

Singh is Kinng

Anees Bazmee’s action comedy Singh is Kinng was Kaif’s next film which as well marked sixth consecutive commercially successful film from her.

New York

Her next film, New York, was a terrorism drama where she performed pretty decently.

Ajab Prem ki Ghazab Kahani

Her next was Rajkumar Santoshi’s hit comedy film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazal Kahani where her onscreen with chemistry was absolutely electrifying and everyone loved her performance.

Raajneeti

After De Dana Dan being her last film in 2009, Katrina started 2010 with Raajneeti, a film by Prakash Jha. The film had a widespread storyline with multiple layers; being inspired by The Mahabharata, The Godfather and also by contemporary Indian Politics. The star cast included Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai and Ajay Devgn. It was successful both critically and commercially.

Zindegi Na Milegi Dobara

After her appearance in “Tees Mar Khan” in 2011 Katrina was seen in Zoya Akhtar’s film Zindegi Na Milegi Dobara. Refreshing and cheerful, both audience and the critics loved the film.

Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

The same year, she featured in Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. With the film earning mixed reviews, her performance was appreciated.

Ek Tha Tiger

After her much popular item number Sheila Ki Jawani in Agneepath, in 2012 Katrina featured in Ek Tha Tiger, a thriller from Kabir Khan. The film achieved predominant success along with Katrina being praised for how she executed her character. It was the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year.’

Jab Tak Hai Jaan

The same year, she was also seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. She called Yash “the king of romance” and described the experience of working with him as better than what she dreamt.

Bang Bang

Bang Bang in 2014,being her latest hit where she starred opposite Hrithik Roshan, was a blockbuster. She is heard to be working in a few more simultaneously. We wish Katrina many success and await more from her!
