WOAH! After Jailer’s success, Rajinikanth receives gifts of more than Rs 210 crores

Megastar Rajinikanth is currently basking in the success of his film, Jailer. After the phenomenal success of the film, Megastar Rajinikanth has reportedly become the highest paid actor in India. Rajinikanth’s movie, Jailer, is inching closer to grossing Rs.650 crores worldwide box-office.

As Rajinikanth’s film continues to grow and climb the ladder of success, the actor has reached the pinnacle entertaining his millions of fans and followers.

Rajinikanth becomes the highest paid actor in India

Post the success of this film, a hefty cheque was handed over to the actor by producer Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. The page took to its Twitter handle and shared the memorable moment. The post read, “Mr.Kalanithi Maran met Superstar @rajinikanth and handed over a cheque, celebrating the historic success of #Jailer.”

Film trade expert Manobala Vijaybalan shared the same pics on his Twitter handle and wrote, “Info coming in that, the envelope handed over in by Kalanithi Maran to superstar Rajinikanth contains a single cheque amounting to Rs. 100 crore from city Union Bank, Mandaveli Branch, Chennai. This is a Jailer profit sharing cheque which is up and above the already paid remuneration (Rs 110 crore) of superstar for the movie. Total – Rs 210 crore. Making superstar Rajinikanth the highest paid actor in India.

Rajnikanth gifted with a BMW X7

It so happened yesterday, on 31 August that the CEO of Sun pictures, Kalanithi Maran gifted a brand new luxurious BMW X7 on the fabulous success of Jailer.

Apart from Rajinikanth, Jailer also stars Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi and Tamannaah Bhatia in essential roles. The film also stars veteran actors Jackir Shroff, Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal. Kaavaalaa song featuring Tamannaah Bhatia has been a craze ever since it was dropped in July.
