CONFIRMED: ‘Dangal’ starring Aamir Khan will have songs

It has been confirmed that Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ will have songs! There were rumours doing the rounds that the Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dangal’ will not have songs, and there will be just one promotional track. But now we have a confirmation that ‘Dangal’ will certainly have songs.

A few months back, the music composer Pritam had said to an entertainment daily that he has recorded 5-6 songs for ‘Dangal’. But recently at an event, he said that he is unsure about the number of songs in the film, since the shooting is still in progress and the editing has just commenced.

A source close to the film has stated that Pritam has recorded a few songs and will start shooting once the talkie portions are over. The movie will have background songs that are situational as the film is very emotional and has a rustic feel to it.

In the film, Aamir Khan is playing role of a father who teaches boxing to his daughters, who in turn win gold medal at the Commonwealth games. The film helmed by Nitesh Tiwari is set to have a Christmas release this year.
