Poikkal Kuthirai First Look: Prabhudeva is all set to impress fans with his never-seen-before avatar

Prabhudeva, who is one of the popular directors and choreographers of all time, is all set to wow the audience with his new movie Poikkal Kuthirai. And the film’s first look will leave fans super excited. He will be seen in a new look for his next. From the poster, it’s evident that he will be playing the role of a differently-abled person. He can be seen in a rugged look with a prosthetics leg and can be seen carrying a kid in one hand. The director-choreographer-actor took to his Instagram handle to share the first poster. He wrote, “Here’s the First Look of #PoikkalKuthirai, a gripping story of grit!.” Apparently, the actor loses his leg in an accident and is set to take revenge.

Santhosh P Jayakumar revealed how he prepared for this tough role. He said that Prabhudeva’s leg used to be folded backwards and tied. He added how balancing the body weight on one leg and performing is not easy. A good amount of research and practice was done for the final desired output. He also revealed how he imagined Prabhudeva only for the role since the beginning.

Speaking of the movie, aside from Prabhudeva, the movie also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raiza Wilson, and Prakash Raj among others. While the film’s music is composed by D Imman, it is bankrolled by Darkroom Pictures and Mini Studio. The makers have completed the major part of the shoot and may resume the next schedule in Chennai soon. For the unversed, Prabhudeva is making a comeback to Tamil Cinema after a long time. The film is slated for a release this December.
