Ram Charan’s fever grips Ganesh Chaturthi 2022 with idols inspired from his RRR character, fans call him ‘demi god’

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there have been two years of restricted celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. But this year, the entire nation is all set to celebrate the ten-day festival with full fervour. Preparations are going on in full swing and idols of Lord Ganesha being brought by the devotees towards pandals and their homes ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, in various cities. Amidst this, idols of Bappa inspired by Ram Charan’s several looks from RRR have gone viral on social media.

Ram Charan’s character Alluri Sitaraman has inspired to make several statues of Ganpati across the country. Fans have shared the pics and some even called him “Demi God”.

For the unversed, this is not the first time SS Rajamouli’s film has inspired this. Earlier his film Baahubali: The Beginning starring Prabhas also inspired designs of Ganpati idols. So, history has yet again been repeated.

Coming back to RRR, the film released in theatres on March 25. It also starred Jr NTR, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody. The film collected over Rs. 1200 crore at the global box office. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
