The makers of NTR 30 took to the social media on Tuesday to make the announcement official. They did it with a picture of Saif from the film’s set, where he is seen posing with Jr NTR and director Koratala Siva. In one of the pictures, both the actors are seen in the midst of a discussion.

Sharing these pictures, the makers wrote, “Team #NTR30 welcomes #SaifAliKhan on board… The National Award winning actor joined the shoot of the high voltage action drama. (sic)” . The announcement left the fans quite excited as well.

Taking to the comments section, fans expressed their excitement on this new addition of Saif Ali Khan in NTR 30. One user wrote, “Blood bath loading,” while another one wrote, “It is getting bigger every day.” Some people also welcomed Saif to South cinema. A fan wrote, “Welcome To Tollywood Sir.”

Saif shared his excitement saying, “Well I’m super excited! It’s new territory but also familiar. The set is efficient and well organized and people are just really polite and kind. I’m having a lovely time. It’s a very cool role and I’m working hard to make sure I deliver more than what is expected of me. Siva is a passionate artist with infectious energy and a great vision; he narrated to me for three hours and I was emotionally involved all the way! Jr NTR is very friendly, charming, and super passionate also!”

The actor added, “I admire his ambition of making a Pan India film, we are too used to thinking and working in terms of region and language, but this is an exciting attitude of his. The DOP is Rathnavelu who has shot amazing movies like Robot and it’s great to be lit and shot like this. It’s a fantastic vision and a very big-scale of movie and I take it as a great compliment that they are interested in my services. My pleasure entirely to be here. Fingers crossed this will be rocking!“

Jr NTR was already a big pan-India star, but the success of RRR took his stardom to another level. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi had expressed her desire to work with Jr NTR and on March 6, she announced being a part of NTR 30. She also shared her first look.

As for Saif, the actor has Om Raut’s retelling of the Ramayana, titled Adipurush, up next. He features as Lankesh, another name for Ravana. The film sees Prabhas play the role of Lord Ram while Kriti Sanon plays Goddess Sita. Sunny Singh also stars as Lakshman in the film and it will release on June 12, 2023.
