Talking to Bollywood Life, Taapsee commenting on the violence in ‘Bigg Boss’ house said, “Why are people enjoying this kind of violence? It’s not fun. If it happens to us, we won’t find it to be fun. It’s entertainment for us only if it happens to others. So, we need to turn the tables and see what if we were standing there and it was happening to us. Then only will our opinions start changing. It’ll take a long time, but someone has to start doing it, you know. I just can’t leave it just because the masses are actually following something that is against my beliefs. That doesn’t mean I won’t put my beliefs out there.

This season, there have been some really big fights in the house, like the time when Rashami Desai threw tea on Sidharth Shukla and how can we forget the time when Madhurima Tuli beat Vishal Aditya Singh with a frying pan. Or the time when she hit him with slippers. And we have lost count of the number of times when the housemates have pushed each other. There has been a lot of violence going on in the house this year and it is not good to see that on national television.

Meanwhile, talking about the movie ‘Thappad’, it is based on the intolerance on violence. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, ‘Thappad’ also stars Pavail Gulati, Dia Mirza, Ratna Pathak Shah, Tanvi Azmi, Kumud Mishra and Manav Kaul. The film is slated to hit screens on February 28.
