mrunal thakur kumkum bhagya batla house

With every passing day, the line between the small screen and the silver screen is blurring. Now, actors have no qualms in experimenting with roles be it on television or Bollywood. Last year, we saw television actress Mrunal Thakur making her Bollywood debut with Tabrez Noorani’s social drama ‘Love Sonia’.

Mrunal later bagged a role opposite Hrithik Roshan in ‘Super 30’. She was last seen opposite John Abraham in Nikkhil Advani’s ‘Batla House’. However, her fans still miss watching her on the popular show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’.

We met the beautiful actress recently and asked her what all her fans have been impatient to know. When asked if she plans to return to television ever again, Mrunal said, “The charm that we had back then was just so amazing. Of course, if there is something interesting storyline then I wouldn’t mind.

She went on to add, “I have explored television. I have explored the Marathi cinema. Now that I am getting a chance to explore Bollywood so I want to explore it. I always look up to Madhuri Dixit and Riteish Deshmukh as they did ‘Lay Bhari’ and ‘Bucket List’ so language and medium shouldn’t be a problem.”

Mrunal also shared that she is waiting for the day when she will be addressed as an Indian actress instead of being called a television actress.

You can check out her interview below:

Mrunal will be next venturing into webspace with Netflix. And we wish to see more of her on the silver screen in the coming days.
