Arvind Trivedi dies

Actor Arvind Trivedi who was best known for essaying the role of the Demon King, Ravan in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan, departed for his heavenly abode at the age of 82 on Tuesday. Kaustubh Trivedi, Arvind’s nephew told ETimes, “He was not keeping well for quite some time, but today he suffered a heart attack and that led to multi-organ failure.” After his tragic demise, Ramayan cast Sunil Lahri, Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia who played Lord Laxman, Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the show respectively took to their social media handle and paid heartfelt tributes to Ravan Arvind Trivedi.

Dipika said he was a fine human on her tribute post. She wrote, “my heart felt condolences to his family …a very fine human being #arvindtrivedi #ravan” whereas Sunil mourned Arvind’s death as he considered him to a father figure. He wrote on his Instagram, “Bahut dukhad Samachar hai ki Hamare Sabke Pyare Arvind bhai (Ravan of Ramayan) Ab Hamare bich Nahin Rahe Bhagwan Unki Atma ko Shanti De…I am speechless I lost father figure my guide well wisher & gentleman…

Arun Govil who played Lord Ram in Ramayan expressed his grief as his ‘dear friend’ passed away. He took to Twitter handle and penned an emotional letter in Hindi, “आध्यात्मिक रूप से रामावतार का कारण और सांसारिक रूप से एक बहुत ही नेक,धार्मिक, सरल स्वभावी इंसानऔर मेरे  अतिप्रिय मित्र अरविंद त्रिवेदी जी को आज मानव समाज ने खो दिया। नि:संदेह वे सीधे परमधाम जाएंगे और भगवान श्रीराम का सानिध्य पाएंगे। (The reason for Ramavatar spiritually and in world, a very noble, religious, simple natured person and my dear friend Arvind Trivedi ji has been lost by the human society today. Undoubtedly, they will go straight to the supreme abode and will be in the company of Lord Shri Ram)

Reportedly, Arvind Trivedi​ ​last rites took place on Wednesday morning in Mumbai.
