Sharad Malhotra wants to go on a double date with ex Divyanka Tripathi; heaps praises on her

Sharad Malhotra and Divyanka Tripathi met on the sets of Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. The couple dated for around eight years before calling it quits. Divyanka is now married to Vivek Dahiya while Sharad has tied the knot with Ripci Bhatia. Sharad, in one of his recent interviews, heaped praises on his ex-girlfriend. So much so that the Naagin actor even said that he would love to go on a double date with his wife, Divyanka and her husband.

Sharad recently praised Divyanka in an interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan. Commending Divyanka’s acting skills, the actor said, she is “one of the finest actresses television has seen in a really long time.” Also expressing how gracefully Divyanka conducts herself in public, Sharad said, “The way she conducts herself in public aur apne aap ko jis tarah carry karti hai (the way she carries herself), great, yaar. Fantastic! Bohot khush hai, mujhe bohot khushi hoti hai yeh dekh kar (She is very happy and I am very happy to see that).”

When if asked if he would like to go on a double date with his wife and Divyanka and her husband, Sharad said that he would love to. “Absolutely! I don’t know in what century it will happen but I hope it does. I think bygones are bygones. We have all accepted life beautifully. We have moved on. Hum sabki shaadiyan ho chuki hai, hum khush hai (We are both married and happy). It’s good to have a nice dinner once in a while. Jab bhi ho, agar kabhi ho toh (Whenever it happens, if it ever does), “ he responded.

Sharad also admitted that he hasn’t been in touch with Divyanka for the last six years but is open to the idea of working with her again. Well, let’s see if these two are able to share the screen space again. And whenever that happens, it will give their fans a reason to rejoice.
