Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta got hitched on November 28, 2017, at Juhu’s Iskon Temple in a private ceremony. The wedding came as a surprise to their fans as there was no announcement by the couple. It was attended by only their families and close friends.

In a conversation with ETimes, Vatsal and Ishita spoke about their dating days, why they had a private wedding and a lot more. Vatsal said, “I was very clear that I want a small and private wedding. There were just 30-40 people at our wedding. I still feel very bad because I didn’t even invite my own cousins. I called them and told them the reason. We wanted to keep it very very small. Our wedding got over in an hour.”

Vatsal and Ishita didn’t date much. When Ishita had asked Vatsal that reason why he wants to marry her, he said, “I live in Juhu and you live in Lokhandwala. And with the Mumbai traffic, I won’t be able to meet you everyday. So let’s get married.” Ishita adds, “Thanks to Mumbai traffic and construction work, meri shaadi ho gayi.”

For the unversed, Ishita and Vatsal met on the sets of Life OK show ‘Rishton Ka Saudagar – Baazigar’ and they fell in love.
