Tara Sutaria is all set to leave her audience intrigued with Apurva. Tara had left everyone stunned with her never-before-seen avatar in the Apurva trailer, which makes it a must-watch! The trailer was released a while ago and has amped up the excitement to watch Tara, Abhishek Banerjee and Rajpal Yadav among others in this gripping tale. But, did you know that Tara Sutaria did all the action sequences by herself without any use of body doubles?

No body doubles were used by Tara Sutaria in Apurva

For all the action sequences in Apurva, Tara has worked round the clock and the efforts are absolutely visible in the trailer. Speaking about the shoot, Tara Sutaria recalls, “I was barefoot throughout the shoot in Jaisalmer. I was jumping off trains, walking on hot sand, doing all my stunts without body doubles. I lived on intermittent napping because we were shooting day and night.”

Further, Tara added, “There are so many hero-centric films but women-oriented films are rare. I’m glad the film chose me. Women possess an innate strength that comes out in the face of adversity. No woman should have to go through this, but as an actor, this role is a privilege.”

Set in one of the most dangerous places in India – Chambal, the movie is presented by some of India’s leading creative powerhouses who have come together for this gritty thriller.

Tara Sutaria starrer Apurva is presented by Star Studios and is a Cine1 Studios and Star Studios Production. Apurva is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. It is produced by Murad Khetani and Star Studios, streaming from November 15 onwards only on Disney+ Hotstar.
