‘Begum Jaan’: Vidya Balan’s brothel owner act in this teaser makes you more curious for the trailer

There are a few days left for the trailer of actress Vidya Balan’s upcoming film ‘Begum Jaan’ to release, but the makers are leaving no stone unturned to generate curiosity around the same. On this note, the makers have unveiled the first teaser of this Srijit Mukherji directorial that features none other than the brothel owner Begum Jaan (Vidya Balan) herself in a menacing avatar.

The duration of this teaser is just a few seconds but it creates the right amount of impact through the visuals, haunting background score and most probably Vidya Balan’s outstanding act with her deadly expressions as she smokes a hookah. The trailer will be unveiled on March 14.

Apart from Vidya, the movie also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Ila Arun, Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Chunky Pandey and others playing pivotal roles in it. The movie is slated to release on April 14, 2017.
