Ace choreographer turned filmmaker, Farah Khan, is apparently planning her next directorial. As per reports, unlike her other directorial films, this one is going to feature young stars from the current generation. A source reveals it to DNA that Farah has her mind set to make a musical on the lines of ‘The Jungle Book’ and as the senior actors may not fit in the role properly, she is planning to rope in young stars.

Source quotes, “Farah is currently working on a musical extravaganza. She is readying a script that’s on the lines of ‘The Jungle Book’. It is currently work-in-progress.”

“Older actors won’t fit the role, hence, she is looking to cast heroes and heroines from the current generation,” source adds further.

Farah’s last directorial venture was ‘Happy New Year’ that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah. It was one of the biggest blockbusters of the year 2014. Before that, she had directed Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Tees Maar Khan’ that released in 2010, which did not work that great. She is also the one who can be given credits for giving Deepika Padukone an unimaginable debut with ‘Om Shanti Om’. Starring Shah Rukh and Deepika in the lead, ‘Om Shanti Om’ garnered a massive response at the box office. Before that we had Farah’s directorial debut ‘Main Hoon Naa’ entertaining the masses. Well, most of her films had Shah Rukh Khan in it, as if he were her lucky charm. Let’s wait and watch whether in her next film will we get to see SRK or not.
