Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most sought-after actors in the industry. Despite Badshah Khan’s last couple of films not doing that well at the box-office, the actor has proved his class. SRK is known for his quick wit and entrepreneurial skills. Now, the ‘Raees’ actor has once again found himself in some sort of legal trouble.

As per the latest reports in moneycontrol, the Income Tax Department has challenged an order that gave relief to the actor regarding the alleged benami property issue. The Adjudicating Authority had dismissed the case by the IT department which labeled the property in Alibaug as ‘benami.’ However, IT has again challenged the order creating fresh legal trouble for the cinestar.

It is reported that Shah Rukh is the first and one of the high profile celebs whose case has been filed under the Benami Property Act. If found guilty, SRK could face serious repercussions.

This particular case came into the light after District Collector Vijay Suryavanshi asked for legal advice on the 87 farmhouses across the coast of Alibaug. This was with regards to the Coastal Regulatory Zone (CRZ) violations.

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’. The film saw SRK playing a dwarf character. The feature film did quite meager business at the box-office.

Hopefully, Shah Rukh clears his name once and for all regarding these allegations. Stay tuned to Bollywood Bubble for all the latest news and updates.
