Ahan Shetty Reveals Signing An Intense Love Actioner With Bunty Aur Babli Director Shaad Ali; Says, “Planning To Begin In March-April”

Riding the wave of success from Border 2, Ahan Shetty has signed three new films, including a gripping action love story with director Shaad Ali. The actor shared that filming is expected to begin around March or April, with work already in progress. Following the strong box office performance of Border 2, Ahan is not only enjoying the rewards of his efforts but also expanding his lineup of projects.

Ahan Shetty Reveals Signing Intense Love Actioner With Shaad Ali

In an interview with Mid-Day, he revealed, “I’ve signed three films, one of which is with Shaad Ali, known for Saathiya (2002). It’s an intense action love story—something I’m returning to after Tadap (2021). I enjoy playing such intense roles that carry a lot of depth.”

The new project, which remains untitled, is currently in the scripting stage, with Shaad Ali aiming to start shooting by summer. “We’re planning to begin around March or April, but the dates are flexible for now. We’re refining the script and working on the music,” Ahan shared, expressing his eagerness to work under Ali’s direction. “Shaad sir knows exactly what he wants. I’m excited to collaborate with him because we have a good understanding. I believe he’ll bring out the best in me, and I fully trust in surrendering to my director’s vision.”

About Border 2

Border (1997), directed by JP Dutta, is set during the India–Pakistan war of 1971 and is inspired by the Battle of Longewala. The film starred Suniel Shetty, Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tabu, Pooja Bhatt, Rakhee, and others.

Border 2, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, is directed by Anurag Singh and was released in theatres on January 23. Backed by T-Series and J P Films, it features Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, Pranav Vashisht, and Medha Rana in key roles.
