Ajay Devgn cancels Shivaay shoot to be with father

Ajay Devgn, who is busy shooting for his upcoming directorial venture ‘Shivaay,’ had to cancel the next schedule of his film as his father Veeru Devgn is not keeping well. Ajay who was supposed to fly down to Hyderabad directly from Mussoorie after wrapping the shoot in the hills is now in Mumbai to take care of his ailing dad.

Ajay Devgn’s dad Veeru Devgn was admitted to Lilavati Hospital, Bandra on Thursday. The famous action choreographer of Bollywood, Veeru Devgn was diagnosed with pneumonia after which he had to be hospitalized immediately. His condition was supposedly critical and was kept in an ICU.

As soon as Ajay got to know about his father being hospitalized, like a doting son, he cancelled all his plans and flew down to Mumbai to be with his father. The actor had to start shooting the next schedule of his film ‘Shivaay’ in Hyderabad but instead he came down to Mumbai to check on his father. Veeru Devgn’s condition is now stable revealed a source.

Veeru Devgn has choreographed action scenes for more than 80 films, including Mr. India, Tridev, King Uncle and Mr. Natwarlal.
