Kajol goes on a nostalgic trip leading Ajay Devgn to reveal their proposal story

Kajol and Ajay Devgn have a successful marriage that is inspiring to many out there. They make for one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. The way they make fun of each other and yet be each other’s biggest cheerleaders, is just adorable. And now, a nostalgic trip of Kajol has led Ajay to reveal some interesting details of their proposal.

Ajay and Kajol have starred in several films together, including the 1997 film Ishq. On, Wednesday Kajol celebrated 26 years of Ishq by sharing a throwback picture from the film’s shoot. The picture is from the ‘hills of Switzerland’ and features the couple as well as Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla.

Along with the picture, Kajol shared a fun story behind it. She wrote, “This picture was taken once we had finished stomping on the hills of Switzerland for the day.. You can’t see how zapped we were or how we were like “Why does the sun set so late damnit ? “ .. What fab actors we were na.”

The actress’ nostalgic trip actually prompted Ajay to reveal some interesting details about their proposal, which actually happened during the shoot of the film. He reshared Kajol’s post saying, “Wasn’t this the film where I proposed to you with your own ring?” Well, their sense of humour do compliment each other.

Ajay Devgn and Kajol love story

Ajay and Kajol have done several films together including Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, Raju Chacha, Ishq, Dil Kya Kare, U Me Aur Hum and Tanhaji amongst others. The couple began dating while working on their film Gundaraj. They got married on 24 February 1999 in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony at Ajay’s house. They are proud parents to daughter Nysa Devgn and son Yug Devgn.
