Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone starrer Singham Again to NOT release on Diwali

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn will be returning with the third part of Singham. Singham and Singham Returns which were released in 2011 and 2014, did well at the box office. Now, after 9 years, the actor-director duo is set to come back with a bang. According to the reports, Ajay and Deepika Padukone starrer Singham Again will release on Independence Day.

Singham Again release preponed…

Earlier, Singham Again was supposed to release on Diwali 2024. The film will go on floors in August this year.

On Saturday, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to announce the news. Directed by Rohit Shetty, Deepika Padukone is the latest edition to the family. The actress will be seen as a cop. Earlier, during the song launch of Cirkus, Rohit introduced Deepika as lady Singham. Rohit said, “Everybody keeps asking me when I’ll introduce Lady Singham. So, here it is. Deepika Padukone will be the Lady Singham Again. She is my lady bomb from the cop universe, and we’re going to start working together on it next year.”

For the uninitiated, Deepika featured in Rohit Shetty’s film Cirkus’ song Current Laga and won hearts.

On the other hand, the actress is currently busy with Fighter which also stars Hrithik Roshan. She also has Project K in the pipeline. It also stars Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Disha Patani. Deepika will again reunite with Amitabh Bachchan for The Intern remake. Earlier, the actors worked together in Piku.
