Even before its release, filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘AK Vs AK’ has landed in trouble. The Indian Air Force has expressed their objection over the Anil Kapoor’s character wearing Air Force officer’s uniform in the film. IAF has said that Kapoor has donned the uniform inaccurately and they have also expressed objection over Anil’s language in the trailer.

IAF has now demanded the removal of the objectionable scenes. Read on to know the details.

Reacting to the Anil Kapoor’s tweet on ‘AK vs AK’, the official handle of Indian Air Force wrote, The IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned & the language used is inappropriate. This does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India. The related scenes need to be withdrawn. @NetflixIndia @anuragkashyap72 #AkvsAk(sic).”

In the clip shared by Anil Kapoor, he can be heard using colourful language while talking to Anurag Kashyap. IAF wants all these objectionable scenes to be removed from the film.

Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, ‘AK vs AK’s synopsis reads, “A filmmaker(Anurag Kashyap) kidnaps the daughter of a movie star(Anil Kapoor), and while the star searches for his daughter the director films the desperate search in real-time for his next blockbuster movie.”

Both Anurag and Anil will be playing themselves in ‘AK vs AK’. The film is scheduled to release on Netflix on December 24.
