Update On Mahakali Shoot

In Mahakali, Akshaye plays the role of Asura guru Shukracharya. Directed by Puja Kolluru, the film is part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which includes Hanu-Man (2024), its upcoming sequel Jai Hanuman, and the under-development project Adhira. Notably, Mahakali is Khanna’s Telugu debut. The film, centred around a female superhero, has generated considerable anticipation among audiences.

Beyond Mahakali, Akshaye is also set to star in Siddharth P. Malhotra’s Ikka, where he will reportedly play the main antagonist. The film features Sunny Deol, Dia Mirza, Tillotama Shome, and Sanjeeda Shaikh. It will be released directly on Netflix.
