Alia Bhatt thinks she is working at a manic pace; feels “you lose a sense of yourself”
Actor Alia Bhatt is one of the busiest stars right now as she is swarmed with some incredible projects in her hand. She has already completed the shoot of SS Rajamouli’s RRR, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and the long awaited film, Brahmastra with beau Ranbir Kapoor whereas she is still filming movies like Karan Johar’s Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani, Darlings and recently announced film, Jee Le Zara. With so many things going in her professional life, Alia thinks that she is working at a manic pace and hence, she is losing a sense of herself.
While featuring on the cover page of fashion magazine Elle, October issue, Alia Bhatt spoke about her upcoming films and said, “Working at a manic pace, you lose a sense of yourself. You tend to work on the auto-mode! But my father always says to me, ‘If you can’t sit down with yourself, you can’t sit down with anyone else.’ Acting on that emotion, I’m spending quality time with myself on a beach somewhere by myself, even as we speak. Four years ago, I would have never been able to do it, I always needed people around me.”
After the debacle of Sadak 2 which released on Disney+ Hostar, the Raazi actor is now gearing up to sizzle on the big screens after a hiatus.

Meanwhile, apart from the professional life, Bhatt was also grabbing headlines for personal reasons. It was reported that the 28-year old actor is all set to tie the knot with Ranbir Kapoor. When asked the same to Alia’s mother Soni Razdan, she said, “Even I don’t know when it’ll (the wedding) happen. Even I’m waiting for some information.”
“Well, there’s a lot of time left. It’ll happen sometime in the future, and that’s a long way off. Now, when it’ll happen, I don’t know. Maybe, you’ll have to call Alia’s agent for that (a reference to her upcoming Netflix series, Call My Agent: Bollywood), but even her agent might not know,” she added.
