The leaked image features two new judges—actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari- on IGL Season 2. Fans quickly speculated that the episode would include promotions for their upcoming spy thriller Alpha. Some even suggested it might be an AI-generated picture. The presence of the nimbu-mirchi, believed to ward off the evil eye, and the handcuffs on the show’s logo didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans.

Why The First Season Went Off Air?

Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, guest judging on an episode of India’s Got Latent in 2025, asked a controversial question: “Would you rather watch your parents have s*x every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” This caused a massive uproar nationwide.

A police complaint was filed against Ranveer for “promoting obscenity” and offensive language, submitted to the Mumbai Police Commissioner and the National Commission for Women. An FIR was lodged against Ranveer, Apoorva Makhija, and Samay Raina. As a result, Samay removed all episodes of the show from YouTube.

Alpha, starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh, is scheduled for release in theatres on July 10, according to Yash Raj Films. Directed by Shiv Rawail of The Railway Men fame, this spy action film was initially set to debut on April 17, 2026.
