Alia Bhatt starts shooting for Jigra, shares BTS glimpses from the Vasan Bala directorial – SEE PICS

Alia Bhatt delivered a rocking performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The actress also left everyone impressed with Heart Of Stone. Alia Bhatt is on a roll as she recently announced Jigra and is all set to mesmerize everyone with the upcoming project. From acting in a Dharma film, Alia will now be producing Jigra with the production house. Speaking of which, the actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of BTS pics from the sets of the Vasan Bala directorial.

Alia Bhatt has raised the excitement level among the netizens for Jigra. Adding up to this, she took to her Instagram handle and shared unseen glimpses from the sets of Jigra. Sharing the pics, she stated that the filming for Jigra has begun. Her caption read, “& we’re rolling .. (film camera) day one of bringing our jigra to life.. stay tuned as we bring to you a piece of our hearts.. fingers and toes crossed for the journey aheaddddddd ..love TEAM JIGRA”

The first pic shows the RRKPK actress looking at a screen where ‘Jigra’ is written. The remaining snapshots include Alia getting ready in the makeup room. Another snap dropped by the actress also features her sister Shaheen Bhatt. Jigra is slated to release in theatres on 27th September 2024.

Alia Bhatt to produce Jigra with Dharma Productions

Earlier, Alia had informed through her Instagram handle that she will be producing Jigra. It will be through her banner, Eternal Sunshine Production, and will produce it with Dharma Productions. Her caption had read, “Presenting #Jigra, directed by the extremely talented @vasanbala and produced by @dharmamovies & @eternalsunshineproduction. From debuting in a Dharma production to now producing a film with them, in many ways, it feels like coming full circle from where I started. Every day is a different day… exciting, challenging (and a little scary)… not just as an actor but also as a producer as we bring this film to life, and I CANNOT wait to share more as we move forward.”
