Amitabh Bachchan and his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan have featured in many movies together. Over the years, the father-son actors duo has won hearts with their stellar performances. They have many movies where they have entertained the audience with their acting craft and skills. It was the movie Sarkar where Big B played the role of Abhishek’s father. On Twitter, a writer praised Abhishek’s performance as the revengeful son in the movie Sarkar. Amitabh Bachchan has reacted to the writer talking about the performance of Abhishek Bachchan.

Taking to Twitter, screenwriter Vivek Ranjit said that Jr Bachchan’s performance in the movie was his ‘favourite interpretation’ of Michael Corleone. He described the scene where he felt that Abhishek’s performance was ‘pure fire’. Ranjit wrote, “@juniorbachchan in #Sarkar is my fav among all the Michael Corleone interpretations. This whole revenge sequence & taking up the mantle from @SrBachchan in that last scene, was pure (fire emojis). So much swag, so calm yet fierce, proving his worth to take over as the next Godfather.

The movie Sarkar was directed by Ram Gopal Varma. It featured Sr Bachchan, Abhishek, Kay Kay Menon, Tanishaa Mukerji. The movie released in 2005 and also had a sequel titled Sarkar Raj that released in 2009.
