No strangers in the international film circuit, Jungle Book Entertainment has already produced an acclaimed documentary titled ‘Faith Connections’ based on the Kumbh Mela in 2013, in co production with France, already released in theatres in more than 16 countries. Angry Indian Goddesses marks Jungle Book’s foray into mainstream Indian cinema.

Jungle Book Entertainment is a collaboration between world renowned director Pan Nalin (Samsara, Valley of Flowers) and multi faceted producer Gaurav Dhingra (Peddlers, Ice Road Truckers), both of whom are extensively experienced in working across international TV and film platforms.

Talking about Jungle Book, Gaurav Dhingra quotes “Our aim is to produce world-class films with strong emotional storylines, that are Indian and global at the same time. And our film ‘AIG’ is the perfect example of the blend of meaningful and commercial cinema which we want to produce. This is what we aspire to achieve at Jungle Book Entertainment, a passion for cinema that entertains and inspires.”

Pan Nalin says, “Since many years, I’ve been longing to do a film with firebrand Indian women in lead roles, purely out of rebel spirit because shockingly 96 percent of women’s roles in Bollywood are only for decoration! Long before ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Queen’, I did my rounds with powerful scripts with powerful women in lead roles, but not a single producer came forward to back them. Then I met Gaurav Dhingra, who believed in the project and backed me fully. AIG being selected as a Special Presentation at TIFF has been a huge shot in the arm! We have a series of projects in the pipeline, both International and Indian- with good stories and great content, about which you will be hearing very soon.”
