Athiya Shetty showers love on beau KL Rahul after his successful surgery

Athiya Shetty made a heartwarming post on her Instagram and showered love on her beau, cricketer KL Rahul, just minutes after he shared a health update post his surgery. It was only recently that Athiya had travelled to Germany, with Rahul, for his groin surgery. The cricketer was scheduled to undergo groin surgery after he sustained an injury. Athiya Shetty was clicked at Mumbai airport, as KL Rahul and she left for Germany.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Motichoor Chaknachoor actress shared a smiling photo of Rahul that even he shared on his social media account. Sharing the photo, she added a hug emoji to the post. Shetty showered love on her beau as he shared an update about his health with fans and followers.

Earlier, KL Rahul shared a photo of him seated on a bed, wearing a cream-colored shirt. He is flashing a bright smile while looking away from the camera. Sharing the photo, the cricketer wrote, “Hello everyone. It’s been a tough couple of weeks but the surgery was successful. I’m healing and recovering well. My road to recovery has begun. Thank you for your messages and prayers. See you soon”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Athiya also shared a string of photos of her from Germany. Seemingly, she visited an art museum during her time there. Shetty shared dreamy photos of her posing in front of art installations and some beautiful paintings.

For the unversed, Athiya and Rahul were rumoured to be dating for quite some time. Later, during the premiere of Ahan Shetty’s movie Tadap, the couple made their first red carpet appearance. They even made their first public appearance during the movie premiere. Not just that, the lovebirds even posed for family group photos at the premiere.
