Bhediya: Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon to reunite for Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy; here’s when the film will release

The makers of Bhediya have finally announced its cast and have also revealed its release date. Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon will be reuniting for Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy, Bhediya. Varun and Kriti have previously worked together in Dilwale and Kalank. Varun dropped the film’s announcement video, while Roohi and Stree’s star cast welcomed him into their horror-comedy universe.

Starring Varun and Kriti in the lead, Bhediya will hit the silver screens on April 14, 2022. Sharing the announcement video, Varun took to his Instagram handle and wrote, “#BHEDIYA ? ka pranaam #stree ji aur #roohi ji ko. In theatres 14 TH April 2022#Stree aur #Roohi ko  #Bhediya ka pranaam! In cinemas 14th April, 2022.(sic)”

In the teaser video, we see a man turning into a werewolf on full moon nights. Apart from Varun and Kriti, the film also stars Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal. After Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree and Janhvi Kapoor’s Roohi, Bhediya is the third film in Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe. Interestingly, Amar Kaushik who had directed Stree will also be directing Bhediya.

Welcoming Bhediya into their world, Stree aka Shraddha shared, “#STREE apni darawani duniya mein swagat karti hai #BHEDIYA ?(sic).”

Janhvi Kapoor also shared the same teaser and wrote, “#Roohi apni darawani duniya mein swagat karti hai #Bhediya ka!In cinemas 14th April, 2022.(sic)”

After the success of Stree, the audience is expecting a similar kind of entertaining horror-comedy from Dinesh Vijan. Now it has to be seen if Roohi and Bhediya live up to our expectations and take the franchise forward.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi starrer Roohi will hit the silver screens on March 11, 2021.
