Deepika Padukone has not yet wrapped up the shooting of ‘Padmavati’

Recent reports suggested that Deepika Padukone has wrapped up the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. It was said that the actress will need to just shoot for five or six days more if any patch work is required.

A source had stated, “Deepika has wrapped filming for her part. The actress has reserved additional three to five days for any patchwork if required. Patch work will be shot only after Ranveer and Shahid have finished shooting their respective portions.”

However, the film’s spokesperson told ANI, “The reports are completely untrue. All the primary cast members of the movie still have a few scenes to shoot for.”

Few days ago, there were reports that as the shooting of the film is not yet completed, and work on VFX is also left, ‘Padmavati’ which is slated to hit the screens on November 17, 2017, will be postponed to April 2018. However, a source from SLB’s team had denied the reports and had stated, “It’s not true. We want to know who is spreading these rumours of the film getting postponed! It’s been happening for over a month now. The rumour started because of the FWICE strike as the shooting got a bit delayed. Only some minor patchwork remains to be shot with Ranveer, Deepika and Shahid and everything including VFX and editing is happening simultaneously. The film is racing towards its release date.” (Also Read: Is Deepika being paid more than her male co-stars for ‘Padmavati’?)
