Salman Khan is back in his ‘Prem’ avatar once more, with Sooraj Barjatya’s latest hit ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’. Records being made by Bollywood’s Dabangg Khan and box office success don’t surprise us anymore. However, we were a little too eager to check out PRDP as it also marks the comeback of Barjatya after a long break of 16 years; and there he is, with his signature genre!

‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ is doing amazing at the box office, having already crossed the 250 crore mark worldwide. While it is assumed to surpass the first weekend collections of Salman’s previous blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, we asked him how does it feel when he breaks his own records, and his answer to us was pretty honest. “Breaking your own record is better than breaking somebody else’s record. It’s a great feeling. It shows that you are growing with time.”.

Well, we do agree with that. But not always is life so delightful to you that only you break your own records. There are both emerging and established talents who could give you a hard race. What about that? Salman sounded even more honest while answering this. “Records should break. One day even my record will be broken. I hope and I hope not that my record is broken. ‘I hope not’ bit is selfish and ‘I hope’ bit is better for the industry. I also hope that I break someone else’s record”- he said.

In the process of records being made and broken, we hope to be gifted with some amazing films. What say?
