Actor Shefali Shah gained immense love and appreciation for her role in Darlings. Moreover, people loved her chemistry and relationship with actor Alia Bhatt in the film. The two essayed on the role of mother-daughter which was very well received by the audience. During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shefali Shah spoke about her relationship with her co-star Alia Bhatt.

Shefali revealed that she wanted to have daughters in real life. But when she got the chance to play a mother-daughter relationship in Darlings, she revealed the chemistry between them came naturally. In fact, she also revealed there were things that they didn’t have to choreograph but just happened.

The Delhi Crime actor told us, “It’s great, particularly because Shamshu and Badru share a very very close and tight bond. Also, Alia and me share a great chemistry which shows on camera. There are a lot of things we don’t even say to each other and it’s understood. There are things that we’ve done that we didn’t choreograph it, but it just happened same time, same moment. We’ve both done the same thing so it’s great and the closeness like they’re really close. Also, I, as a person, am very protective and I’m a fiercely protective mother when it comes to my kids or to kids so it just comes naturally to me but it was great fun.

Bollywood Bubble gave Darlings also starring Alia Bhatt, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew, 3.5 stars. A part of the review read, “Darlings is a one-time watch which is laced with dark humour. Alia Bhatt and Shefali Shah give out a statutory warning that violence against women is injurious to health. It shows that violence against women will only lead to your destruction.

Shefali Shah will next be seen in Delhi Crime season 2 and Doctor G.
