Taapsee Pannu

After impressing the audiences with movies like ‘PINK’ and ‘Naam Shabana’, Taapsee Pannu has become a sought-after name in B-Town. The actress who will be seen essaying a glamorous character for the first time in ‘Judwaa 2’ spoke about the fear of auditions and how she has failed at practically every audition in her life.

She said, “I suck at auditions. I failed every audition in my life. Seriously, I am a very ‘ghatiyaaa‘ (bad) actor if you put a camera and a torchlight and tell me to act… I can’t act like that… I have failed all auditions.” She states that initially she wasn’t great at her work but got a hang of it with time. She added, “I sucked at what I was doing that time, but the reaction that I got, in spite of being so bad, was so good and people loved me so much, so I said I think I need to do this much for all the love that I am getting in spite of not putting my 100 per cent at that time, not realising the gravity of this work. Then I started acting.” (Also Read: EXCLUSIVE: ‘I don’t think I should even be allowed to have a favorite genre’, says Taapsee)

Umm, looking at her performances in movies like ‘PINK’ and ‘Naam Shabana’, one would surely not agree with her statements. Anyway, the actress who was trolled for wearing a bikini in ‘Judwaa 2’ spoke about addressing trolls and sl*t-shaming in an exclusive chat with us.

She said, “First of all, I don’t believe in reacting to these people because I don’t feel they deserve my attention. Because giving them attention is like giving them what they want. Secondly, if at all I felt like responding to them, I have already done that. I feel an eye for an eye will make the whole world blind. So, if you keep on fighting with them in their language, it’s only going to turn uglier. So when you look through them, it’s probably going to hit them the most. Because all they want by saying all these things is to get attention. You look through them, that’s how it really pinches them hard. So, these things don’t affect me at all.” Well, said Taapsee!
