Hansal Mehta gets hitched to his longtime partner Safeena Husain, RajKummar Rao, Ekta Kapoor and others congratulate the couple

Filmmaker Hansal Mehta has tied the knot with his longtime partner Safeena Husain who is a social worker. The couple had an intimate wedding ceremony in San Francisco, California. The pictures are doing rounds the social media. The Scam 1992 director shared a post on his Instagram handle where he wrote that it was ‘impromptu’ and ‘unplanned’. Hansal was in a casual T-shirt with a blazer and denims while Safeena was in a pink kurta-salwar suit. Hansal shared pictures from his big day on Instagram.

Sharing the pictures, Hansal wrote, “So after 17 years, two children, watching our sons growing up and chasing our respective dreams we decided to get hitched. As always in life this was also impromptu and unplanned. Our vows however were truthful and but for this little ceremony they would never have been said. Ultimately love prevails over all else. And it has…”

He also shared pics on his Instagram Stories. He captioned one pic as, “And we got hitched. Finally” while he captioned another photo as “Modern Love”. Hansal directed the episode tited Baai in Modern Love Mumbai that released recently.
