A major fire has broken out at Beaumonde Towers in Worli, Mumbai. It is the same building where Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone resides. Four fire tenders have rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the fire under control.

As reported by ANI, the 32nd floor of the high rise building caught fire. The cause of the fire is not known yet. Reportedly, more than 90 people have been rescued safely.

Video footage accessed by TIMES NOW shows the top floor of Beaumonde Apartments embroiled in flames.

As per sources, “It’s not Deepika’s house or office which has caught fire. It has happened on the 32nd floor. Fire brigade is on their way already. She is on the set shooting for her brand. Her staff has evacuated the apartment.”

Deepika Padukone had bought an apartment on the 26nd floor in Beaumonde Towers in 2010. The property has been jointly registered in the name of Deepika and her father Prakash Padukone.
