For quite some time now, actors Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad have become the next hot thing on the block. They were seen making public appearances that are only increasing the speculation around the rumoured couple. However, Hrithik left everyone’s tongue wagging when he was seen hand-in-hand with Saba while heading out of a restaurant. If public appearances are not enough, it seems like their love or admiration has now become virtual. Just recently, Saba shared a video where she is seen singing a Bengali song from Satyajit Ray’s classic film ‘Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne’ while mentioning why she sang the song and speaking about music.

However, Hrithik seemed to be impressed with her singing skills as he then commented, “You are an extraordinary human.” The Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge actor also reacted to his comment by saying, “@hrithikroshan and you are the kindest 🙂” Well, we are sure this little social media banter is leaving everyone crazy. On the other hand, Konkona Sen Sharma wrote, “One of my favourite songs! And your pronunciation is fab!

Speaking about the post, Saba shared a note saying she is not feeling well while mentioning that she learned every song on the album as a child, even though she did not understand the language. She said, “Sick at home with no energy to do much else than sing – when I was a smol my parents got me the cassette tape for the soundtrack of the classic Ray film “Goopy Gyne Bagha Byne” soon after we watched it at a festival. At the time I didn’t understand Bangla at all, even so it very quickly became my favourite cassette tape and I learnt every lyric of every song (however mispronounced and incorrectly – pls forgive me) on the album – yep, without understanding a word of what it meant – that’s the thing with music though right – language doesn’t matter at all, if it moves you it moves you!! A while back on a lazy evening chilling at home singing songs with friends I realised I still remember all of them like they never left my head – here’s a scratchy voiced (warts and all) version of the one I love the most – maybe if I find the courage I’ll sing them all to you – excuse my throat i shoulda warmed up before recording.
