Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan has made her place in Bollywood. Sara made her debut with Kedarnath and later on went on to be part of movies like Love Aaj Kal, Coolie No 1 and Simmba. Now after Sara, fans have their eyes on her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan as they are waiting for his smashing entry in Bollywood. Looks like there is still time for that, but Ibrahim will apparently soon start as an assistant director to Karan Johar. KJo’s next directorial is said to star Gully Boy duo Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, and Ibrahim will be assisting the filmmaker on the project.

If the latest reports are anything to go by, Ibrahim is still studying and he is still to make up his mind on acting. So for the time being he will be learning the ropes of filmmaking for which he will assist Karan on his next. Apart from that, there are no plans as of yet for Ibrahim’s launch into the glamour world.

According to a report by Pinkvilla,  a source close to the development revealed, “But no, there are no plans of launching him at present. He has come on board the film, just because he wants to understand the process of filmmaking. He is a young kid, still studying and yet to even decide if he wants to be an actor, director or something else.”

Further talking about Karan’s next directorial, the report further said that the movie is likely to go on floors by the month of June/July and will be shot in the country. The story is a light-hearted love story and Ranveer’s character will sport a completely modern look whereas Alia’s look will be toned down comparatively.

“Karan is all charged up and excited to make something in this space after such a long time. He was exhausted in the pre-production of Takht, and when he decided to put it on the back burner, the sole idea was to let it loose and make a fun commercial rom-com that Bollywood is devoid of at the moment,” the source added.
