Ira Khan slyly shuts down trolls mocking Nupur Shikhare’s unexpected jog at the wedding, here’s what she said

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan recently got married to Nupur Shikhare on 3rd January this year. Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding was quite intimate and it was attended by their close friends and families. Aamir Khan, his ex wives Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta were also a part of the wedding celebrations.

Well, Nupur Shikhare had grabbed attention for having a unique entry and choosing to wear a tank top and shorts on his wedding day. Though he broke the norm of wearing a traditional sherwani, he received quite a lot of trolls. And now, Ira Khan has shut down trolls about the same.

A while ago, Ira Khan took to her Instagram handle and addressed the trolls in a sly manner. She shared a glimpse of the two from their wedding day, where Ira was dressed as a bride and Nupur was dressed in shorts and a tank top. Dropping the pic, she wrote, “He didn’t come on a horse. He ran to the venue. And I placed cute posters along the way.”

For the unversed, Nupur Shikhare had ditched the baraat on his wedding day. Instead, he jogged his way to the wedding venue and joined his family to dance his heart out in the baraat.

During the wedding, Nupur Shikhare signed the official marriage papers wearing the same top and shorts. The guests then asked about his attire, after which Ira Khan asked the guests to excuse Nupur for a bit as he had to take a shower and dress up for the ceremony. Post this, Nupur Shikhare was seen dressed in a blue kurta and pajamas as he made first appearance with wife Ira Khan.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare had a registered marriage. As per reports, the two will have a three day wedding in Udaipur in the coming week.
