Actress, Kareena Kapoor Khan is set to step into a courtroom drama once again. According to Peeping Moon, the Singham Again actress has signed a yet-untitled legal drama to be produced by Ramesh Taurani under Tips Films. While plot and character specifics remain under wraps, it is unclear whether Kareena will play a lawyer or someone embroiled in legal proceedings. However, the project will see her share the screen with two powerhouse performers, Shabana Azmi and Jaideep Ahlawat, in what promises to be an intense exploration of the justice system.

This film marks Kareena’s second collaboration with Jaideep following Sujoy Ghosh’s Netflix thriller, Jaane Jaan. It also pairs her with Shabana Azmi for the first time, after their recent appearance together on Anupama Chopra’s year-end roundtable discussion. Pulkit, who previously directed Bhakshak, is set to helm the project.
Kareena will next be seen alongside her husband and actor Saif Ali Khan. The are all set to reunite on-screen after a long hiatus in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit. This pan-India action thriller, starring Prabhas, reportedly features the Bollywood power couple as antagonists and is slated to begin filming in early 2025.
Pulkit is currently in the post-production phase of his upcoming Rajkummar Rao-led action film, Maalik, while simultaneously preparing for Kareena’s courtroom drama, which is expected to commence shooting in March 2025. Kareena is likely to juggle Spirit and the legal drama around the same time, having reportedly exited a true-crime thriller to accommodate her schedule for Prabhas’ project.
