Kareena Kapoor remembers Rishi Kapoor, daughter Riddhima misses him as she pens an emotional note on his birth anniversary

Veteran star Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020, leaving the entire country in the void. Fans were heartbroken to bid farewell to one of the veteran actors in Bollywood. Today, the birth anniversary of Rishi Kapoor and his family are sorely missing the late actor. They took to their Instagram stories and dropped a heartfelt post for the late actor.

Kareena Kapoor and Riddhima paid tribute to Rishi Kapoor

Kareena shared a throwback picture of Rishi Kapoor ji from his young days. She captioned, “Happy birthday Chintu uncle… Always in our hearts. Miss you.” On the other hand, his daughter Riddhima Kapoor also shared a small video of her childhood pictures. It has Riddhima and Ranbir Kapoor posing with Papa Rishi ji when they were little. She captioned, “Happy birthday papa. Miss you a little more today…”

In another photo, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also shared a childhood photo where Rishi ji and Neetu Kapoor are seen chilling on the beach. The throwback picture was backed with, “Papa ki carbon copy.”

Though Neetu Kapoor is yet to share a post, she has been sharing all the wishes posted by others on her stories.  

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt penned an emotional note on Rishi Kapoor birth anniversary on his Instagram. He even shared a lovely photo with Rishi Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor. “Chintu Sir was more than family, he embodied the essence of one of the finest actors and human beings. His infectious laughter, stories, and genuineness knit us together. On his birth anniversary, the void he left is palpable, but the warmth of his memory keeps him alive in our hearts. Miss you, sir,” he captioned the picture.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after battling cancer. He came from the most prominent film industry as his father was legendary star Raj Kapoor and his grandfather Prithviraj Kapoor. He made his Bollywood debut with Bobby alongside Dimple Kapadia.
