Kriti Sanon Purchases Sea-Facing Apartment In Mumbai Worth THIS Impressive Amount- Report

Actor Kriti Sanon has acquired a luxurious sea-facing apartment in Mumbai, valued at over Rs 78.20 crore. The opulent duplex penthouse covers 6,636 square feet and is situated in the upscale Pali Hill neighbourhood of Bandra. The transaction was officially registered on Thursday, with a stamp duty of Rs 3.91 crore.

As reported by the Economic Times, Sanon purchased the property from Supreme Universal, with her mother listed as a joint owner. The agreement includes exclusive access to six parking slots and an open terrace spanning 1,209 square feet. The duplex occupies the 14th and 15th floors of an under-construction tower. It boasts a carpet area of 6,636 sq ft.

The total transaction amount reportedly exceeded Rs 84.16 crore. Valued at approximately Rs 1.18 lakh per square foot, this deal ranks among the most expensive property transactions in the Mumbai suburbs. Notably, Sanon benefited from a reduced stamp duty rate of 1%. It amounted to Rs 3.91 crore, as she is a woman buyer. Under Maharashtra government policies, female purchasers are eligible for a significant concession, reducing stamp duty from 5% to 1%.

Kriti’s Current Residence

Currently, Kriti Sanon resides in a spacious rented apartment in Andheri, Mumbai, shared with her sister Nupur and their dogs. She reportedly rents the 27th and 28th floors of a high-end complex in the area. It serves as her primary residence. This latest property purchase follows her acquisition of land in Alibaug, made roughly a year ago. The land parcel, part of the luxurious Sol de Alibaug project by The House of Abhinandan Lodha. It spans 2,000 square feet and was purchased for Rs 2 crore in mid-July last year.
