Madhu Chopra reacts on daughter Priyanka Chopra’s Met Gala look – watch video

Priyanka Chopra has now become a global superstar and her every move is intensely analysed and scrutinised. The 36-year-old actress yesterday (May 7) was present at Met Gala 2019 along with her hubby Nick Jonas. The ‘Isn’t It Romantic’ actress left everyone speechless with her dramatic Dior outfit.

Priyanka’s outfit was quite magnificently designed. Right from her highlighted back-combed hair and dramatic make-up, every detail of her look was so in accordance with the theme, Camp: Notes On Fashion. But, on social media, PeeCee was trolled quite brutally and it started a meme fest.

Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, who appeared at an event last night, was asked about her look from MET Gala 2019. Madhu said, “Itni door se kya reaction hoga, mere saamne hoti to jhappi lagati. Bahut sunder lag rahi thi, bahut special lag rahi thi (If she would have been here, I would have hugged her). [She (Priyanka) was looking very beautiful and special].”

Madhu Chopra is very close to her daughter and the duo shares an excellent bond. Priyanka has time and again reiterated that her mom has played an integral role in her life as well as career. The ‘Baywatch’ actress follows her heart and doesn’t care about perceptions.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra will soon be making her Bollywood comeback with Shonali Bose’s ‘The Sky Is Pink’. This feature film also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in lead roles.
