Bollywood has suffered another loss as veteran actor Mahesh Anand has passed away. Mahesh Anand was found dead today evening at his Yari Road Flat. Though the reason for his death has not been known yet. Anand’s well-wishers have confirmed that he had passed away approximately two days before while having his meal. His body has been taken to Coper Hospital for post motem.

Mahesh Anand was an actor and producer, known for ‘Ganga Jamuna Saraswati’ (1988), ‘Shahensha’ (1988), ‘Thanedaar’ (1990), ‘Coolie No. 1’ (1995), ‘Aaya Toofan’ (1999), ‘Lal Badshah’ (1999), ‘Baaghi’ (2000), ‘Kurukshetra’ (2000) and ‘Pyaar Kiya Nahin Jaata’ (2003).

Mahesh Anand’s sister Lata Das Gupta is married to Ex. CEO of Sony, Mr. Kunal Das Gupta. His first wife was Barka Roy (Sister of Reena Roy). Later he got married to Miss India International (1987), Erika Maria D’Sousa from whom he has a son named Trishul Anand (1989). Then he had got married to actress Madhu Malhotra in June 1992. In 2015 he had married to a Russian lady named Lanaa.

In a conversation with Cinestaan.com, Mahesh Anand revealed that he did not have a film for as many as 18 years and made a living for a while by taking part in wrestling matches with the stage name ‘Lion Gypsy Man’.
