The actor also hit the headlines after interviewing the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. It was an informal and non-political conversation where fans witnessed Narendra Modi at his candid best. The interview received mixed reviews from the public. After that, we hear that Narendra Modi will be making a cameo appearance in Khiladi Kumar’s next – ‘Mission Mangal’.

On Thursday, at the trailer launch of ‘Mission Mangal’, Akshay was asked to confirm the news. To everyone’s disappointment, Akshay denied the rumours in a heartbeat. He said, “Aap suni-sunayi baat pe vishwas na karein. Jab aana hoga, main aapko khud hi bata dunga. (Please don’t believe in hearsay. When he makes an appearance, I will tell you myself.)” Well clearly, it’s not happening this time guys.
